As of September 2019, tourist e-visas and visas upon arrival have been made available for 49 nationalities.
Saudi authorities also announced that nationals of any country holding a US, UK or Schengen visa will be eligible to apply for the tourist visas. These tourist visas allow for muslims from eligible countries to perform Umrah at any time outside of Hajj season.
Anyone holding a passport from the countries listed may apply for an e-visa in three simple steps.
Muslims from any of the nationalities listed above may visit Makkah and Madinah with their e-visa. Non-muslims may not enter Makkah or Madinah at any point during their visit to Saudi Arabia.
